Arrival in Meddellin
Arrival in Medellín. Overnight stay in a comfortable hotel to recover from the flight. Spend your evening exploring the lively neighborhood of El Poblado and enjoying local cuisine at one of its many restaurants.
Tour in the city of eternal spring
We begin our day, visiting the Plaza de Botero, where you can admire the iconic sculptures by Fernando Botero, likewise, we will explore the historic center of Medellín, including Parque Berrio and the Metropolitan Cathedral. Then, we will take the metro until we reach Comuna 13, a neighborhood known for its transformation through street art and community projects. Finally enjoy the nightlife in El Poblado or Laureles.
Guatapé and the rock in El Peñon
We will take a day trip to Guatapé and El Peñol, located about 1,5 hours from Medellín. Climb the 740 steps to the top of El Peñol for impressive panoramic views of the surrounding lakes and islands. You can take a break on the rock and cool down with some fresh fruit or a cold drink. After decenting enjoy a boat ride on the lake and pass by the ruins of Hacienda La Manuala, one of the party houses of Pablo Escobar.
After which you continue to the colorful town of Guatapé, which is famous for its zocalos; colorful facades that tell a story about each house. At the end of the afternoon you will return to Medellin.
Today you will fly to Armenia and be transferred to the beautiful colonial city of Salento, surrounded by bright green Andean mountains. This beautiful place retains an old-world charm with colorful paisa architecture, musicians on street corners, and an incredible variety of crafts. Near the city center, you’ll be able to see the distinctive Quindío wax palms, which are among the tallest trees in the world, reaching a height of up to 230 feet (70 m).
In addition to this experience, you will have the opportunity to spend the night at a local coffee farm (finca in Spanish) and learn every step of the coffee production process, not to mention frequent tastings!
Hiking in Valle de Cocora
Near the charming colonial town of Salento, this remarkably lush (and thankfully protected) cloud forest gives the phrase “verdant green” new meaning. Add in the soaring, skinny wax palms—Colombia’s national tree—which cheerfully dot the mountainous landscape, and the Valle de Cocora (Cocora Valley) makes for an outstanding hiking opportunity that you won’t want to miss.
When we arrive, we experience the Cocora Valley by heading straight through the wax palm trees for a 1-2 hour hike, where you’ll capture some amazing photos. In the afternoon you can enjoy a walk through the four colonial streets of Salento. Founded in 1850, the city is a shining example of typical guadua and bamboo influenced architecture with brightly colored facades and is even more beautiful in the presence of the surrounding Andean views.
Fly to Cartagena and City Tour
Welcome to Cartagena! This romantic colonial city, with its colorful architecture, magical sunsets, and vibrant Caribbean culture, is Colombia’s most popular destination.

The evening is free so you can make your own dinner reservations and sample the city’s legendary nightlife
Beach, breeze and sea
